Mortgages for business premises

Owning your premises can give a business stability and an asset of its own. Lenders look at both the property and the business’s accounts, and we help you prepare for both.

Most commercial mortgages are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. If part of the property is, or will be, lived in by you or a close family member, the loan may be a regulated mortgage, and we will tell you if this applies.

This finance is secured on property, which may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments. Lenders often ask directors or owners for a personal guarantee, which can make you personally liable for the debt.
